Hokoku-An Zendo offers a place to practice zen meditation in Columbia, Missouri (MO). There is formal zazen (zen meditation) and chanting Monday through Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and on Sundays from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. The zendo is also available by appointment for those who cannot make the scheduled times. Hokoku-An Zendo opened in April of 2001 and celebrated its 20th anniversary with a day-long-zazenkai on April 17th, 2021. Hokoku-An is still active and prospering even in the time of Covid 19.
